3 Days Masai Mara

Day 1 Nairobi-Masai Mara

After breakfast, our driver will pick you at 7:30 am, from your hotel. Thereafter depart for the Masai Mara game reserve, stopping at the viewpoint of the Great Rift Valley. Arrive in time for check in and lunch at your lodge. Later in the afternoon, set out for a game viewing drive in this magnificent game reserve. Overnight at your camp/lodge.

Day 2 Masai Mara

This will be a day of tracking game with your guide, either on a full day or choose to do morning and afternoon game viewing drives. The Mara’s landscape is scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills, which enables the reserve to attract sufficient rainfall to maintain and support a large population of herbivores, together with the predators that follow. Elephants, Lions, Buffaloes can be seen with relative ease though luck is a necessary factor for spotting rhino and leopard that complete the big five as the two animals are timid and sparsely numbered. Plains game like Zebras and Masai giraffes abound as well as hippos and a wide variety of antelopes including Impalas, Dik diks, Thomson’s gazelles and this is the begging of the migration of the wild beast and zebras from Serengeti National park.

Optional activities on this day (at an extra cost) would be a balloon safari or a visit to an authentic cultural village.

Overnight will be at your camp/lodge

Day 3 Masai Mara- Nairobi

After an early cup of coffee or tea with some biscuits, depart early in the morning for your last game drive. Later in the morning drive back to your lodge/camp in time for breakfast.

Depart thereafter, driving back to Nairobi and transfer to your hotel to relax or to the airport for your onward flight.
